STEM是科学(Science)、技术(Technology)、工程(Engineering)、数学(Mathematics)英文首字母的缩写,最早是由美国国家科学基金会提出的。STEM教育在美国已经从大学教育延伸到幼儿教育,整个探索的过程对一个人的成长具有重要意义。
S.T.E.M. was first proposed by the National Science Foundation of the United States. S.T.E.M. education programs have been utilized within colleges, primary schools, and early childhood development institutions within the United States since 1984. The entire process of exploration is of great significance to your child's mental, physical, and social growth.

Science, technology, and innovation are the foundation of S.T.E.M programs. The S.T.E.M. Science Fair encourages children to establish scientific and logical thinking habits, exploration habits, usage of fine motor skills, and teamwork.

In a month's time, you and the IPR family worked together to lead children on a rich and diverse scientific exploration adventure! Each child actively participated in making the science fair a reality. You and the IPR family gave the students the opportunity to experience the interesting and magical nature of science, and provided an experience in active exploration and discovery. This project’s initiative was to encourage students to take an interest in the relationships between science and technology that’s possibly experienced in everyday life, & to cultivate the interest and ability of early childhood science exploration activities.

S.T.E.M. represents a philosophy. S.T.E.M. is a way of thinking about how educators and parents can better help students integrate knowledge across disciplines, and to encourage students to think in a more connected and holistic way.
